We had a great group effort to collect and distribute much needed relief items to Hurricane Sandy effected areas. Our first truck, seen above, made it safely to Rockaway Beach on the morning of November 6. We had two subsequent trucks deliver items to Staten Island & Belle Harbor, NY. All items were distributed by Shields members on the ground in NY and were recieved by very grateful residents. Thanks to those who participated. |
